Ket Kamala Foundation was established to promote and develop Holistic Buddhist Education.

Our vision is to cultivate the moral character and spiritual potential of every child, alongside their development of broad-ranging knowledge and life skills.

Our Background
Ubon Ratchathani province has a rich heritage of local culture and traditional wisdom. It is also the birthplace of many great Buddhist masters of the past century.

Nowadays people come from all over the world to learn and practise the Buddhist path in the forest monasteries of Ubon.

These unique qualities make the Ubon region a fertile ground for developing education that genuinely benefits children, parents, teachers, and the whole society.

มูลนิธิเกตุกมลา ก่อตั้งขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมและพัฒนาการศึกษาวิถีพุทธปัญญาแบบองค์รวม

วิสัยทัศน์ของเราคือการปลูกฝังคุณธรรมและศักยภาพทางจิตวิญญาณของเด็กทุกคนควบคู่ไปกับการพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะชีวิตที่หลากหลาย

ภูมิหลังของเรา
จังหวัดอุบลราชธานีมีมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นและภูมิปัญญาดั้งเดิมอันอุดมสมบูรณ์ นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นบ้านเกิดของครูบาอาจารย์ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่หลายท่านในศตวรรษที่ผ่านมา

ปัจจุบัน ผู้คนจากทั่วทุกมุมโลกต่างเดินทางมา เพื่อเรียนรู้และปฏิบัติธรรม ตามแนวทางพุทธศาสนาสายวัดป่าในอุบลฯ

ลักษณะเฉพาะเหล่านี้ ทำให้อุบลฯ เป็นพื้นที่ที่สมบูรณ์ยิ่งสำหรับการพัฒนาการศึกษาที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อเยาวชน ผู้ปกครอง ครู และสังคมโดยรวมอย่างแท้จริง

Holistic Buddhist Education: Our approach integrates four key principles:

The Buddhist Way: Learn essential values and skills for a wholesome and meaningful life based on wisdom, compassion and integrity.

The Thai Way: Learning authentic Thai culture and values: respect, kindness, generosity, gratitude and cooperation.

The International Way: Broadening knowledge and experience of cultures and languages from around the world.

The Nature Way: Studying nature with traditional and modern sciences, cultivating the love of nature and learning to protect and care for our environment.

Current Activities and Future Goals
Presently, we organise regular weekend camps for children and teenagers. Our camps take place in the monasteries of Ubon – peaceful, nature environments with the atmosphere of a dedicated spiritual community.

The camps emphasise learning by experience and include games, arts, crafts, language learning and many more activities which build social and life skills.

Our camps also provide the unique opportunity to participate in the life of the monastic community and to introduce children to the Buddha-Dhamma. Our vision is to establish a Holistic Buddhist Bilingual School in Ubon Province.

การศึกษาวิถีพุทธปัญญาแบบองค์รวม: แนวทางของเรามีหลักการสำคัญ 4 ประการ ได้แก่:

วิถีพุทธ: เรียนรู้คุณค่าและทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับชีวิตที่สมบูรณ์และมีความหมายบนพื้นฐานของปัญญา ความเมตตากรุณา และความซื่อสัตย์

วิถีไทย: เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมและคุณค่าของไทยที่แท้จริง ทั้งด้านความเคารพอ้อนน้อม ความเมตตากรุณา ความเอื้อเฟื้อ ความกตัญญู และความร่วมมือ

วิถีนานาชาติ: ขยายขอบเขตความรู้และประสบการณ์ ด้านวัฒนธรรมและภาษา จากทั่วทุกมุมโลก

วิถีธรรมชาติ: ศึกษาธรรมชาติด้วยวิทยาศาสตร์แบบดั้งเดิมและสมัยใหม่ ปลูกฝังความรักในธรรมชาติ และเรียนรู้ที่จะปกป้องและดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อม

กิจกรรมปัจจุบันและเป้าหมายในอนาคต
ปัจจุบัน เราจัดค่ายสุดสัปดาห์เป็นประจำสำหรับเด็กและวัยรุ่น ค่ายของเราจัดขึ้นในวัดของอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งเป็นสภาพแวดล้อมทางธรรมชาติที่เงียบสงบ มีบรรยากาศของชุมชนแห่งความมุ่งมั่นอุทิตตนทางจิตใจ

ภายในค่ายเน้นการเรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์ รวมถึงเกม ศิลปะ งานฝีมือ การเรียนรู้ภาษา และกิจกรรมอื่นๆ อีกมากมายที่ช่วยเสริมสร้างทักษะทางสังคมและการใช้ชีวิต

ค่ายของเรายังเปิดโอกาสให้มีส่วนร่วมในวิถีชีวิตของคณะสงฆ์โดยเฉพาะ และให้เด็กๆ ให้รู้จักกับพุทธธรรมเบื้องต้น ด้วยความมุ่งหมายในการก่อตั้งโรงเรียนวิถีพุทธปัญญาแบบองค์รวมสองภาษา ในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี
